Alvin helped us in a pinch. Upfront and honest about pricing and gave us advice on how to prevent issues in the future. Non emergency call but he still made it out there in a couple hours, cleaned a condensate drain line, pump, furnace, and run a new drain line under my porch all under an hour. Lowest quote out of 4 I obtained from the Chattanooga/Hixson area.
Action Air is absolutely amazing. We were looking for a new HVAC provider due to ongoing but not consistent issue with our AC unit (freezing up) that two previous providers could not figure out over the last year. Our neighbor highly recommended Justin at Action Air. The appt was quick to schedule - Justin came a couple days later. Of course the AC unit was acting okay when he got to our house but based on the issues discussed and photos I showed him, he said it was like a trip to the doctor and that the unit seems ok at the appt but he knows it is not. Then he spent two hours testing the outdoor unit, air capacity blowing from the various vents downstairs and upstairs and examined all the duct work in our walk in attic. He then thought there could be an issue in the crawl space where most of our duct work is. He crawled through and tested out various things and that is where he figured out the issue - a partially crushed duct and a missing damper causing the air to not properly circulate. I can easily tell you that not a single other provider bothered checking any duct work or go in our crawl space to figure out the issue. Justin took copious notes for his installers, photos and videos and patiently explained the issues to me in detail. He provided a quote within a week. The work was completed a few days later by another team of two who were just as amazing in fixing the issue within a few hours. Our AC has been working perfectly ever since and I cannot thank the team at Action Air enough. We have signed up for their monthly maintenance plan as well. We highly recommend them for any HVAC needs!!!
I signed up for the service subscription with Neal Tompkins after he explained how it worked with great detail and the value I was getting. The service tech, Maddox, explained each step of his visit and kept me updated after each step was completed. He also gave suggestions about my air filters to help lower my power bill as well. 10/10 start to finish!

The maintenance director at work recommended Action Air to me when I ask him who to call for a new furnace. Customer service on every call has been great, they are friendly and professional. The first visit to inspect and see what I needed to have done was good, got a quote the next day. I called to schedule the install, they came, install and took all my old equipment away. Checking the heat for the upcoming freeze, I noticed it wasn't heating, I gave them a call this morning and they had someone out by 3:30 today. I am heating and I am so very happy I chose Action Air, I HIGHLY recommend them if you are looking for Heating and Air service or repairs. Update: (2.16.2026) I received a call about giving my unit a check up, the technician came by and did a full check and replaced my fitter because I can't go in the basement. He gave me a good report and then ask me about signing up for a 2x a year checkup. I took him up on that just so I can make sure all is well. I HIGHLY recommend recommend Action Air for the quality service they give.
